Sr. Systems Administrator

Job Summary:
iTradeNetwork is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to help support the Senior Technical Management Team in maintaining a mission-critical, 24x7 Production Data Center located in Sacramento, CA. The job is a challenging position that requires hard work and flexibility. Night and weekend work is expected, as well as rotating 24x7 *on-call* support.
Responsibilities:
- 7-10+ years systems administration and support experience, including Sun Solaris and RHEL, SAN Storage, Oracle Database (RAC experience a must), LDAP/AD, Networking, and Firewalls.
- Must have experience supporting a 24x7 Production Data Center, including sharing rotating *on call* duties.
- Maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies for all production servers.
- In-depth knowledge of disk management with SAN with an emphasis on disk layout and performance. HDS experience a plus
- Strong NAS experience. Clustered OnStor experience a plus.
- UNIX shell scripting and Perl a must.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong Solaris knowledge including Containers and zones.
- Experience using monitoring tools such as Nagios, Hobbit, and Xymon.
- Oracle Database experience (including RAC and RMAN)
- 4 year college degree preferred
- Participates in the defining, development and implementation of IT Projects.
- Candidate must have a legal driver's license and the ability to travel to Sacramento as needed and without notice.
Must have unrestricted ability to work in the United States.
