POSITION DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the delivery of software products based on an existing architecture and standard software design patterns.

Responsibilities:

Using latest technology, create reusable and quality programs according to iTradeNetwork established standards and practices

Develops, administers, and maintains Microsoft SQL Server 2008 databases as required for enterprise wide Internet applications and partner integrations in a high volume e-commerce environment.
Developing and maintaining application components including domain model objects and service layers using established multi-tier design patterns within a .NET application architecture.
Develop and maintain ETL and integration processes using technologies such as SSIS and SQL Service broker.
Use development methodologies based on Test Driven Development and Agile principles

Knowledge & Experience Requirements:
(Minimum qualifications required to perform the job)

Transact SQL, C#, database structure, normalization, stored procedures, and business application development
3-5 years experience in database development and administration in a Microsoft SQL Server environment
Programming experience with emphasis on designing complex t-sql and .Net components that scale and are optimized for use in a high volume environment.
Extensive experience in the physical and logical design of database architecture
Experience with database optimization and performance tuning.
Working closely with application developers, system administrators, support personnel and project and central operations management.
Ability to perform moderately complex DBA tasks including data migrations, etl operations, replication, troubleshooting and performance optimization.
Knowledge of .Net 3.5 (Entity Framework), Reporting Services, SSIS, Analysis Services, Service Broker and web application development a plus
